Emma graduated from the University of Otago in 2016 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She went on to work in private practice for 2 years where she worked mainly with sports injuries, chronic pain and semi-professional football players. She has recently come back from overseas where she spent a year in Africa volunteering in third world hospitals and a year in London working in the hospital during the COVID outbreak. Emma has a special interest in chronic pain, sports injuries and Maori health. Emma is a keen surfer, skier and hiker and loves spending time with friends and family.
